    Scenic View of Mount Hood from Mt. View Cemetery

    Mountain View Cemetery, established in 1854, is one of the oldest cemeteries in the West.The first known burial occurred in December 1847 for the infant John Barclay, son of Dr. and Mrs. Forbes Barclay. The second oldest headstone belongs to the former Dr. William Allen who died June 8, 1851.

    Buena Vista Interior

    Located at 1601 Jackson Street, at the base of Atkinson Park, the Buena Vista Clubhouse contains an open meeting area, small stage, basic kitchen and a restroom. It can comfortably accommodate 45 people. Chairs and tables are available. Users must provide their own coffeepot.

    Though there is no shelter at Carnegie Park, the park may be rented for large gatherings, including church meetings, concerts, and reunions. Reservations require that a Special Activities permit be filled out and submitted to the Parks Office. Fees are determined on an individual basis.     Clackamette RV Park

    Clackamette RV Park is located at the confluence of the beautiful Willamette and Clackamas Rivers in Oregon City. RV spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not take advanced reservations.

    Outreach and In-House services are available for Seniors, as well as those seeking information about their family members for information and referral to other senior service agencies, problem solving assistance for those who may have concerns about life situations, low income energy assistance, emergency transportation, and telephone reassurance with daily safety checks for the frail elderly.

    Code Enforcement responds to citizen complaints as fast as possible by determining if a violation has occurred, alerting the responsible party that they are in violation, and enforcing compliance through the legal process. We also investigate complaints about parking  violations, abandoned vehicles,  and properties that are overgrown or dangerously deteriorated.

    The Pioneer Community Center offers many  recreational services to enhance the physical and emotional well being of our patrons.   We provide a variety of  classes to promote healthy and artistic outlets.   • Community Grants--Oregon City Metro Enhancement Grant | community

    Applications for the 2010-11 Metro Enhancement grant program are now available. The program supports enhancement projects within the Oregon City boundaries. The total amount available for grant proposals is $100,000, with $25,000 being a maximum award. Applications are due May 5, 2010 by 3:00 p.m. Proposals may be mailed or delivered to City Hall, 625 Center Street.

    Hours and Days of Operation:

    The courthouse is located at Oregon City Hall, 320 Warner Milne Road, Oregon City, Oregon (map).

    Fines, fees and assessments will be accepted by Municipal Court staff until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on business days prescribed by statute.

    We've joined forces with the Oregon Building Codes Division to allow contractors to pull limited-scope, over-the-counter electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits online. The permits available on this site do not require plans, calculations, other agency approval, or staff interaction.

    The City of Oregon City participates in the FEMA National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which makes flood insurance available to everyone. The City makes continual efforts to reduce flood damage potential, which reduces insurance rates.

    The Municipal Court is the judicial branch of the City of Oregon City government. It has jurisdiction over all city and state law offenses committed within city limits other than felonies. The court does not handle DUIs.

    Rent a park shelter or facility for your next get-together! Picnic shelters are available to rent at Atkinson, Chapin, Clackamette, Hillendale, Jon Storm, Rivercrest, Canemah Childrens Park and Wesley Lynn Park.

    Many of our classes are listed in the Oregon City Trail News and The Pioneer Community Center newsletter.

    You can come in and register for classes in person Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.
    or fill out the Class registration form and mail it to us.

    Classes fill quickly. Also if your a Pioneer Card holder you can receive a discounted class fee if your age is 62 and over.

    We have a great Fitness program available to adults over 55. 

    Good working equipment  that is maintained and cleaned.  Open Monday thru Friday 9am to 4pm.

    The Fee: 24 visits for $20.00

    Participants are asked to take the Weight Room orientation class when joining.  You can call to set up your individual appointment.

    The Pioneer Center provides Nutrition Services to those 60 years of age and older and to disabled residents of any age referred by Medicaid. The price to seniors is on a donation basis. The suggested donation of $2.50 per meal for those 60 and over.

    Located at 615 5th st. Oregon City OR 97045 Is a mutli-purpose community center open to the public Monday - Friday.  The Pioneer Center's primary responsibility is to enhance the quality of life for community senior citizens.

    The City of Oregon City has been conducting traffic volume studies since 1978. We have historical traffic volume counts from 1978, 1980, 1989, 1990, as well as more current ones. Any of our historic studies are available for review. Our most recent studies are available online (see below) and will be conducted every 3 years, or has needed.

    A door to door transportation system provides service to those 55 and older to the residents of theCity of Oregon City, its Urban Growth Boundary and the City of West linn.  Rides are provided for personal business, shopping, medical appointments, trips to the Pioneer Center for lunch, classes and activities. Transportation service is scheduled on a space available basis.

    Wedding Rental

    The Oregon City Trolley is available for private rental for up to 40 passengers. The rental rate is $400 for up to 3 hours and $75 for each additional hour and includes Trolley, driver, and fuel. Consider renting the Trolley for your wedding, corporate or private party, wine tasting tours, or other group tours.

    Utility Billing is a Division of the Finance Department, and manages approximately 10,000 active billing accounts for the following services:

    The City of Oregon City bills monthly for water, sewer, storm drain services and a pavement maintenance utility fee. A statement will be mailed to you at the end of each month and will be due the middle of the next month.
